Canadian indie-pop gem Ormiston has released his new single, ‘Step From The Limelight’. He takes an explosive drum pattern and places it against jangling, trebly guitar work and ferociously gritty synth notes. The track is built around the need to avoid monotony, “criticising the desire to be part of an empty culture, filled only with glances and stares to satisfy our self-esteem.” Ormiston’s music has its own truly unique groove that slots into the pocket of its own funky electronica and psychedelic-indie influences.
